I stopped off in Gibraltar on my way to Morocco - it's like a little bit of England in the Mediterranean, there are British post-boxes, and British policemen, but everything is just a little more colourful!
After a little bit of a hiccup I managed to stay with a friend of mine's mother on the island.
It was quite fun to wander around the British supermarkets and see how cheap things were, especially petrol! But no trip to Gibraltar is complete with out a trip up the "Rock" and a close encounter with the residents - the monkeys. Luckily I escaped with just photos but another tourist lost his ice-cream!
In "the rock" itself are St. Michael's Caves, a series of natural voids with stalagmites and stalactites. It's so large they even hold concerts in the caves.
