Unbelievable:
I got chatting to a guy on the train and he couldn't believe that I'd made it all the way to Romania from China overland. I was answering question after question from him about the trip and how I had planned it.

I made it through Romania on the train on my 'Silk Road' trip - admittedly I spent most of my time in Bucharest, but I did see a lot of the country from the train window. As I left Bucharest for Budapest on the overnight train I realised that we'd be travelling through Transylvania! Almost as soon as we left Bucharest we started to climb into the hills along a river valley. It was an amazing sight as the sun set and the clouds came down over the mountains.
