Day 15 - Fri 2 Oct 09
Up at 05:00 and check out of the hotel. It's still dark, and it's been raining hard. It's a slow plod up to the ferry office to check in. At least we're directed to the domestic terminal which is just across the road, rather than the one that we came in from Albania, which is miles away.
The Anek line boat is just docking as we arrive, but we're told that the Minoan Line will be in next as soon as the Anek one is out. It starts to hammer down with rain again. It's a really quick turn around for the Anek line, and we see the Minoan arrive in the harbour.
We climb aboard and are shown to the cabin which already has two bodies already in it, so we dump our stuff in the room and head out to explore the boat. By this time we've already departed and the sun has almost risen, so there are some views of Corfu Town.
Weirdly we head south to Igoumenitsa for another stop before heading north up the channel between Corfu and Albania. The boat is nice but there is little romance left in boat travel no matter how good the boat is.
