Day 8 - Thr 08 Aug 96
Got into Kopenhagen about midday and wandered around the centre - had a look at Tivoli Gardens but didn't go in. Took a stroll down the longest pedestrian street, got some cash, and a big chocolate cake! Walked back to the car, ate the cake, and drove up to see the Little Mermaid, but found a Russian tall ship from St. Petersburg instead.
Saw the Little Mermaid in the end, and managed to get a photo of her with the oil refinery in the background! Then drove in to Mon, to see the white cliffs - then back to the ferry, and across the water to Germany. Camped in Gras at the same place as the night before last. It was such a clear night I saw the Milky Way, Shooting Stars, and even a satellite. Almost ran out of petrol on the way to the campsite, as the petrol station was shut..
