Day 23 - Fri 23 Aug 96
Up early, caught the bus to the train station, where I was going to catch the train to Venice, But the train had gone (and it was rather expensive), so caught the bus back to the campsite, packed up, and drove a bit closer to Venice - then caught the bus in. Very hot over 30c, so seeing Venice in the cool of the evening was a good idea! Got the ferry from the bus station along the Grand Canal. Got off the ferry at St Marks Square and walked back to the bus station through Venice - Magical!
