Day 6 - Sun 5 Aug 07
Up at 08:00 for breakfast, sat with and had a nice chat with a Japanese lady, even though the waitress was intent in getting me to sit at my own table! After that I got in the car and headed off towards Friedrichshafen.
On the way I stopped off at Fussen, abandoned the car in the hospital car park and took a wander around the town. It's very cute, but even early on a sunday morning it's full of tourists and cyclists looking around. Climbed up to the castle to get some good views of the town and surrounding mountains. The down again, and found the tourist information, where I got a detailed map of the area.
The map was worth it's weight in gold, as it allowed me to follow a lot of the smaller roads across the region. There's no doubt the Bavarian region is very pretty, but the villages are almost identical!
Before dropping my hire car off at the airport I stopped of at Langenargen, a very popular tourist town on the shore of Lake Constance. It was a glorious day and there where plenty of people just wandering around the town.
All to soon it was time to head to the airport and home.
