Day 1 - Thr 12 July 07
I head down to London, and across to Paddington, as I walk into the station past the Isambard Kingdom Brunel statue I spot the sleeper train already at the platform!
I collect my ticket from the ticket office with no problems, and climb aboard, by pure chance the first carriage I choose happens to the one that's reserved for me! The sleeper seems quite full, and I do have a bunk mate. The compartment has a standard layout and it clean and tidy. I have a quick look around the train, then wash my teeth, and head for bed.
It's quite weird being on a sleeper where I don't have to hand over my passport, and that they allow you onboard a full hour and three quarters before it leaves..
