Oslo
Wandered upto the Royal Palace at the top of the hill, had a quick look around, but didn't spot anyone royal looking. Walked down to the town hall, it looks a lot better on the inside that out.
Took a Fjord tour on a boat around Oslo, interesting enough, but not a patch on Flam - got off at Bydoy (an island just off Oslo, full of museums). Then took the boat back to the city, and walked up to the City Museum, the LP says that entrance is free, but you have to pay 40Kr to get in now.
Right - in the bus station now, waiting for my bus to the airport to turn up. The heavens have opened, and it's tipping down - I'm glad I'm under cover.
Would I visit Oslo again - no, Bergen - maybe, Norway - yes definitely, but I'd hire a car and get out and see the countryside. Got waved off from the bus station by a couple of nice girls - okay they were there for someone else, but they waved at me as well!! The plane was a little late, but managed to get a seat towards the back. Collected my car, and headed back home, ready for work tomorrow!
