Overland '05

Day 29 - Fri 27 May 05, Brussels, Belgium

Awoken by the attendants vacuuming the hallway. We lost our bunk mate overnight, and by the looks of it most everyone else in the carriage. Arrived at Brussles Mid at 10:00, and walked up to the hotel (Phew!), there were no rooms available at that time, so spent an hour cooling down in reception. By noon, I had a room (and very nice it was too!) after a shower it was time to see what Brussels had to offer. Boy is it hot. The heatwave that hit Moscow was in Brussels as well!

I must admit that Brussels really didn't grab me, maybe it was due to the amazing things I'd seen, or because it was at the very end of the trip and I was tired.
