Day 12 - Tue 22 Apr 2003
Up early to organise my Japanese visit (what I want to see and do) and also sort out the New Zealand stuff. Plus if my New Zealand flight is later in the day, I might be able to take the sleeper train from Kagoshima. The possibilities are endless! I'm going to post my Seattle and Hong Kong Lonely Planets back to myself today.
Had a walk around the base, and even got a bit of sunburn! Met Barry for lunch, and had my first Taco Bell! Then wandered off base, and had a look around Yokota - went to a shopping mall, and purchased a shirt, and a "bearded papa" - a sort of pastry with custard in it - very nice!
