Day 25 - Mon 5 May 2003
Not much sleep last night, but not too worried, out on the streets by 9am, spent the morning strolling around the old town (Deira), then headed back to the hotel to avoid the mid day heat.. I'm going to pop across the creek this afternoon.
Phew well, went out after 1pm, but it's still hot out there - it seems that most places shut between midday and 4:30pm. I did take an abra across the creek, but didn't hang around too long.
Found the tourist info place, and got some bus time tables - I'm going to try to make it to Hatta (in Oman) the day after tomorrow.
Made it back to the hotel, and was going to go out in the evening, but ended up sleeping from 6pm to 6am - so I guess I was a bit tired!
