Day 39 - Sun 9 May 2004

Final approach to LHR, looks like we're going south of London, and heading down the Thames. 39 days on the road - exactly half of what Mr Fogg did. I'm shattered, but I guess he did it at a more leisurely pace.
The lads up front have talked of drizzle, so I guess that means rain!
The United gate was miles from the terminal building - and waited ages for my luggage, only to find that it had been unloaded at a different carousel. By that time the bus was a non-starter, so got the Heathrow express into Paddington, then a taxi to Kings Cross.
Phil collected me from the station and dropped me off home. Work tomorrow!
