Day 1 - Tue 28 Nov 06

Work during the day, then caught the train into London, walked over to Paddington, and caught the 20:10 Heathrow Express. Then the Heathrow Hoppa bus out to the hotel - a huge hanger like building right on the airport perimeter, but very well appointed. In bed by 22:00, but didn't get much sleep. I never do on the eve of travel, especially to an 'exotic' place. I tried to explain this to a pal, it's partially the dislike of flying, but it's also the fear of the unknown. I'll be fine once I'm there (I always am), it's the getting there that makes me nervous!
