Masvingo - day trip to Great Zimbabwe
Took the local bus out to Great Zimbabwe - an amazing city which was built while europe was in the dark ages. Each stone in the city is beautifully dressed, and fits it neigbour exactly. There are streets, and buildings - all in a huge enclosure.
It's no wonder that Great Zimbabwe is a World Heritage site.
Getting back to town was a little trickier, and I had to thumb a lift, and then walk about 4km - but it was well worth the effort to see Great Zimbabwe!
