Day 14 - Sat 29 Mar 08
Phil didn't get back until 03:30, so he wasn't up that early! Got a text from Al saying that she's arriving at 11:00, so told her to get to Kowloon station and we'd collect her and escort her back to the hotel. And that's exactly what we did. After Al had dumped all her stuff in her room we headed off downtown. Took the Star ferry across the harbour and walked up to the Peak tram. Queued up and got up to the top by about 15:00, and it's the clearest I've ever seen. Had 'lunch' at the top and then decided to walk down. Some of the paths were very steep.
Used the Internet at Pacific Coffee in the IFC tower and tried to book some Kathmandu hotels. Back across the harbour on the ferry, and another shot at the light show in the evening. Phil's not feeling that good, so head back to the hotel. Phil goes to bed and Al and I head out to see on of the night markets. Good, colourful, crowded, but full of rubbish! Back to the hotel via the 7-11 to get some water for Phil.
